The Square Dancers of Victor Harbour recently graduated after only 10 months of dancing – you see we had 6 weeks off in December January. We started in April last year with 11 Dancers – made up of 6 Angels and 5 new dancers. This quickly grew thanks to Happy FM radio 90.1. After just three weeks we had 18 new dancers and the six Angels. On the 14th March we graduated 13 of the new dancers and three others are still dancing with us. These three are not going beyond the Basics and are happy dancing at that level. Last weekend at the National Convention we had 6 dancers and a caller represent JVCSquareDance. It goes without saying that we all had a wonderful time and have returned home absolutely Exhausted. Most of the dancers now realise that there is a new goal to be reached and this will be achieved more easily with our new Mainstream Dancing starting soon.
